How to post items at the Richmond Noticeboard
The noticeboard is an open, public space for people in Richmond, North Yorkshire to share news and views about the town.
There are many different things you can post at the noticeboard in text, picture or video but they mostly all into two categories – events and reports.
- events are things happening such as meetings, walks, sports matches, public celebrations etc.
- reports are items of news. This could simply be a link to another site carrying news eg. the D&S, something via Twitter or it could be something that you know and want to share.
Start by going to www.richmondnoticeboard.me and click ‘contribute to this noticeboard’. You’ll be asked to create a log-in and can use your Twitter or Facebook profile to make it easy.
Once you are logged in, you’ll be presented with this short form.
Once completed, click ‘contribute’ and you will be presented with this message which means that your submission has been received.
All contributions are moderated to ensure we don’t present users with spam and so there will be a delay in publication – usually with 24 hours. Once it has been published on the Noticeboard, we’ll also add it to Twitter, Facebook and our email newsletter.
